The B.T.K. Situational Shooting and Leisure Sports Association began its operations in September 2015

with the intention of providing professional assistance to practitioners of the sport and giving insight to those who want to join. Such as shooting instruction or professional advice in light of up-to-date legal background knowledge.

In Hungary, the introduction and training of athletes in shooting disciplines, including IPSC, is still in its infancy. For this reason, the goal was to establish an ideally functioning association that accompanies and supports members from taking the first steps, learning the safe use of firearms, to providing the necessary conditions for educating the next generation, from obtaining permits, from initial practice to the participation of qualified competitors in competitions.

Since the fall of 2017, we have had the opportunity to operate a shooting range in Budapest, which was followed by the opening of our own 2-hectare sports shooting range with 12 shooting sectors from the spring of 2022, where we organize national and international situational shooting competitions.

In addition to the members of the BTK SE club, we also provide space and opportunities for other associations that do not have a shooting range to practice and hold competitions.

We provide both law enforcement agencies and laypeople with the opportunity to conduct training or try out the sport in the form of adventure shooting.
